Winners Take over Last Festival Day

Although the festival officially closed with the award ceremony on Saturday and the screening of Crash, films are also on scheduled for today, 20 November. At 4pm, Europa Cinema is screening In Between, the special mention and HT Audience Award winner, at 7pm the screen will be taken over by The Happiest Day in the Life of Olli Mäki (the opening film of the 14th ZFF), followed by Quit Staring at My Plate by Hana Jušić, the jury special mention winner.

At 12am and 2pm, Tuškanac Cinema is rerunning the short films in the national (Checkers) and international competition, including the best short film Balcony at 12am and the best Checkers film Baby Tooth at 2pm. At 4pm, a rerun of Hunt for the Wilderpeople by the peculiar New Zealand director Taika Waititi is scheduled, followed by American Honey by Andrea Arnold. At 9.30pm, the best film of the 14th ZFF – Clash – will be screened.

Sunday at the Museum of Contemporary Art will also be dedicated to ZFF: at 6.30pm Fatih Akin’s Tschick will be screened, and at 9pm The Great 5 section continues with Macadam Stories by Samuel Benchetrit, an intriguing title starring Isabelle Huppert.
