António wakes up to find an exact replica of himself floating lifeless in the pool. With no rational explanation, he and his family try to cope with the confusion, distrust, and an overwhelming sense of grief that settles among them. Amidst the absurdity and conflict, life goes on, unperturbed, as if not much has changed.

Tiago Rosa-Rosso (Lisbon, 1984) is a Portuguese director whose work deals with absurdist stories, and political and social issues. In his films, he replaces mise-en-scène and classical narrative with elements of improvisation, wordplay, and automatic writing. A subtle sense of humour is a constant in his work.
