The turn of the 20th century. Chilean Teresa arrives in a small Dalmatian mountain village, claiming to be the widow of the elder's brother who died in a Chilean mine. The arrival of a mysterious stranger, who knows neither the language nor the customs, brings unrest, as well as freedom to the closed rural community. The long-awaited second film by director Hana Jušić (Quit Staring at My Plate – ZFF 2016 – Special Mention) is a historical drama with elements of mystery that combines the atmosphere of the Brönte sisters' novels, the Balkans, and the western genre. It premiered in Locarno, where Manuella Martelli and Ana Marija Veselčić won the Pardo for Best Performance.
