Young homeless man Mike struggles to survive on the harsh streets of London while confronting the demons of his past and trying to turn his life around. Along the way, he encounters unexpected chances for a fresh start. Known for his roles in Beach Rats, Triangle of Sadness, and Baby Girl, Harris Dickinson demonstrates with his directorial debut that he is not only a talented actor but also a skilled filmmaker. Urchin premiered in the Un Certain Regard program at Cannes, winning the FIPRESCI Prize and a Best Actor recognition for Frank Dillane.

Harris Dickinson (1996) is a British actor and director, known for his roles in Triangle of Sadness (Ruben Östlund, 2022), Beach Rats (Eliza Hittman, 2017), and Baby Girl (Halina Rejin, 2024). He has directed the short films Who Cares (2013), Surface (2014), Drop (2015), and 2003 (2021). Urchin is his feature directorial debut.
