This is 13-year-old Sasha’s last day at a residential school for children without parental care. He is one of the lucky ones: he has been adopted by an American family and he is moving to another country forever. Yet there is something holding him back. The film premiered in competition at the Locarno Film Festival.

Olha Zhurba graduated from Kyiv National I. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, and now works as an editor and editing consultant. She has edited Home Games by Alisa Kovalenko and This Rain Will Never Stop by Alina Gorlova, which have received a number of awards at prestigious festivals. She is currently in post-production with her first film, a long-term documentary project Roma (working title).
