Martha became a war reporter, and Ingrid a novelist, known for her great fear of death. After a number of years, the two reconnect and grow closer through shared memories, anecdotes and conversations about art and movies. But their renewed closeness will be tested by Martha\u2019s unexpected request. Winner of this year\u2019s Golden Lion at Venice and the Brian Award, Pedro Almod\u00f3var\u2019s new work is a masterful drama about life, death and the responsibilities of friendship and is also his first full-length film in the English language.<\/span><\/p>\n
