After a viral video threatens his reputation, Baja decides to take revenge. In his new short, Ruffian, director Matej Matijević (Boca de Ferro, ZFF 2022) explores what happens when inherited trauma and toxic masculinity collide in a world where image is everything.

Matej Matijević (Zagreb, 1996) holds a degree in film directing and philosophy. He is the author of short fiction and documentary films that have screened and won awards at festivals in Croatia (Boca de Ferro, ZFF 2022) and abroad. He is currently developing his first feature film.
