Ljubljana International Film Festival

Slovenian short films are returning to the Zagreb Film Festival, this time with an eclectic selection that offers a glimpse into the diversity of contemporary Slovenian short film production. Five selected titles provide a cross-section of different authorial approaches, genres and production models – from professional and independent productions to student films and international co-productions. Moving between live action, animation and experimental expression, these shorts engage with current social as well as intimate matters in witty, absurd, poetic and radical ways. Together they form a playful and unpredictable program that bears witness to the vitality, creative freedom and diversity of new voices in Slovenian short film.
