Feature Film

Una Gunjak

Una Gunjak is a Sarajevo-born, Paris-based director, screenwriter, and editor. She graduated in Editing from the NFTS in London. Her short film The Chicken screened at Cannes Critics’ Week and Sundance, and won the European Film Award for Best Short Film. Her first feature, Excursion (ZFF 2023), premiered at the Locarno Film Festival, where it received a Special Mention. Una works as an editing consultant with First Cut Lab and Dok Incubator, and as a tutor for the Ji.hlava Academy educational platform.

Nicola Marzano

Nicola Marzano is a film curator, producer, and lecturer with over 25 years’ experience championing independent cinema. He headed the film department at London’s Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) for a decade, overseeing the UK/Ireland release of award-winning films. He is a member of the selection committee of the Rome Film Festival and has served on juries at festivals such as Sundance, Venice, BFI London, CHP:DOX, and i Cinéma du Réel. He currently teaches film theory and film programming at several universities and film schools in Ireland, the UK, and Cuba.

Meinolf Zurhorst

Meinolf Zurhorst has produced, written, and directed several documentaries, primarily for German television. He has held leading positions at ARTE G.E.I.E. and ZDF/arte. As an executive and associate producer, he has been involved in more than 100 films by acclaimed directors such as Lars von Trier, Srdan Golubović, Carlos Reygadas, Bela Tarr, Aki Kaurismäki, Jessica Hauser, and Apichatpong Weerasethakul. He is currently developing new projects. He has also served as a jury member at several festivals and is President of the Selection Committee of the Luxembourg Film Fund.

International Short Film and Checkers

Sara Alavanić

Sara Alavanić (Zagreb, 1998) is a graduate student of film and TV directing at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb and previously earned a degree in graphic design at the Faculty of Graphic Arts. She is a member of the Blank Film Incubator, where she directed her first films It Smells With People, But It’s Warm (Pula Film Festival 2020) and Do You Feel Nervous When I Approach You (ZagrebDox 2020). Since 2024, she has been leading the film workshop at the same association. Her latest film Spot won the Golden Pram at the Zagreb Film Festival 2024 and received a Special Mention at the Pula Film Festival 2025.

Bard Ydén

Bard Ydén has been part of the festival community since 2003, when he began collaborating with the Oslo/Fusion International Film Festival. In 2007, he became the festival’s Executive and Artistic Director. Since 2018, he has worked as an editor and senior programmer for the Norwegian Short Film Festival. He has collaborated with several international festivals as a programmer and advisor, and has extensive jury experience. He is the co-funder of the Faroe Island’s Minority Film Fest. Since 2002, he has been a member of the advisory committee of the New Dawn International Film Fund.

Ivan Ramljak

Ivan Ramljak (1974) is a film director and independent curator. In 2003, he co-founded the Human Rights Film Festival in Zagreb. From 2013 to 2022, he curated and hosted Kratki utorak (Short Tuesday), a short film program at Kino Tuškanac in Zagreb, and from 2016 to 2023 he was Artistic Director of the Tabor Film Festival. Since 2022, he has been one of the short film selectors for the International Film Festival Rotterdam. To date, he has directed 14 films, mostly documentaries, which have screened at more than 80 festivals worldwide and won numerous awards.

Together Again

Bruno Anković

Bruno Anković (1976, Split) has directed feature, documentary, and commissioned films, as well as more than 1500 commercials. He has been working professionally on commercials since 1999. His debut feature film Celebration (2024) premiered in the main competition program of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. He graduated in Film and TV Editing from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb and has received numerous awards and recognitions.

Dora Šustić

Dora Šustić was born in Rijeka in 1991. She graduated in Political Science from the University of Ljubljana and earned a Master’s degree in Screenwriting from FAMU in Prague. She is the author of the novel Psi (Fraktura, 2023), which was translated into Slovenian and Italian, as well as the screenplay for the Slovenian feature film Ne damo igralište, which premiered at the Locarno Film Festival in 2024. She received the Marin Držić Award from the Croatian Ministry of Culture in Media in 2025 for her play Pičman. She lives in Zagreb.

Tina Tišljar

Tina Tišljar earned a Master’s degree in Production from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. She has produced award-winning student films and worked in organizing numerous film festivals in Zagreb. After four years in the promotion department of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, she has been working as a producer at Eclectica since 2018. Her first feature film, Celebration, premiered in 2024 at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.

Children's Jury

Vigo Krakar

Vigo is a cheerful and creative spirit who always spends his free time with friends. He has been dancing for many years, and alongside music, films are his great passion. At school, he participates in the film and radio club, where students create and film projects on teen-related topics. He loves challenges and eagerly takes part in various sports, literary, and film competitions. With his dance club, he has even performed on television in the popular show Supertalent, reaching the finals and gaining both fun and valuable experience.

Tea Kranjčec

In her free time, Tea loves watching movies and TV shows with her brother. She also enjoys spending time with friends, both in and out of school. She has been training and playing handball for five years and has a strong passion for hiking and traveling, which has taken her to many interesting places and given her a wealth of experiences.

Young Jury PLUS Award

Maša Batinović

Maša Batinović was born on March 26, 2008, in Zagreb. She is a senior at the Private Art Gymnasium and has been attending the drama group at the Zagreb Youth Theatre (ZKM) since the first grade of primary school. In her free time, she enjoys watching films and plays, reading, and drawing. She hopes to pursue a career in film directing in the future.

David Jurić

David Jurić was born in 2008 in Zagreb. He is a third-year student at the School of Applied Arts and Design. He plays the piano, saxophone, and khaen. A member of the debate club, he writes short stories and screenplays, attends film school, directs films, works in editing and digital multimedia, and composes music.

Kali Martinović

Kali Martinović (Zagreb, 2008) attends the XVI Gymnasium in Zagreb. Some of her fondest childhood memories are film marathons with her father, spending weekends together watching movies. She has continued to nurture her love of cinema through her school and her experience as a member of the Youth Jury at ZagrebDox. She enjoys going to the cinema with friends, hoping to spark in them the same passion for film she feels herself.

Greta Mikec

Greta Mikec was born on December 19, 2005, in Čakovec. She completed the music theory program at the Varaždin School of Music and is currently studying musicology at the Academy of Music and English at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She participated in the student opera Hippolyte et Aricie as part of the musicology project team. Greta is actively involved in composition and writing and has authored several pieces performed within contemporary music projects.

Erika Uka

Erika Uka is a senior at the Classical Gymnasium. She has always loved art and has developed a particular interest in film over the past few years. At school, she studies filmology and takes part in school projects and various workshops both within and outside the school. This is her first time participating in a film festival, and she is very excited about the new experience.
