Carmen Pedrero (Madrid, 1996) is a film director, screenwriter and poet. She graduated from the ECAM film school with her thesis short film Winds of Springtime, which premiered at Karlovy Vary. In 2022, she won the Ateneo de La Laguna Biennial Award for Young Poets for her book No One Knows How a Cat Feels When It Licks Its Paws. She is currently living in Boston, where she is attending a Master’s program in film pedagogy.
