Stefan and Marko are estranged brothers who retreat into the illusion of superstition, seeking justification for their actions and thus successfully avoiding confronting the issues in their relationship once again. Their main point of contention is a backpack with jewelry, stolen from the “cursed” “El Dorado” jewelry store. Alongside their relationship, we follow the true underlying story of the supposedly cursed “El Dorado” jewelry store. In parallel, archival footage of a long-forgotten broadcast unravels the tangled web of collectively embraced illusion.
