The internet platform croatian.film, showcasing domestic short, medium and feature-length films, is the online hub for the promotion and viewing of Croatian films of all types, genres and forms. The platform was launched in 2018 by the Zagreb Film Festival Artistic Organisation, with the aim of advancing and broadening ZFF’s national competition program, Checkers. Since then, the platform’s mission has been to promote Croatian national cinema, making domestic films more readily available to a wider audience. During the Zagreb Film Festival, the films in the Checkers program are also shown on the croatian.film platform.
