This program of Slovenian shorts produced in the recent year invites the audience on a journey through the diverse tapestry of contemporary Slovenian cinema. From captivating fiction, to classic and hybrid documentaries or animation portraying an epic folk song, this selection highlights the diverse genres and distinct author poetics of Slovenian filmmakers and guides us through the dark, unknown landscapes of the inner self. The four shorts offer a small glimpse into the different creative dynamics, providing a window into the unique stories, styles, and perspectives that define the vibrant landscape of Slovenian filmmaking in 2024.
