Maryam Tafakory is an Iranian filmmaker and performance artist. Her works have been screened at MoMA in New York, Cannes’ Directors'Fortnight, and Locarno among others. She has received numerous awards, including the Gold Hugo Award at the Chicago International Festival, and Tiger Short Award at the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
