Co-directed by Rade and Danilo Šerbedžija, the iconic play by Dušan Jovanović was adapted for the big screen to become the Macedonian Oscar candidate. Liberation of Skopje is the directorial debut of one of the most famous Croatian actors. To Danilo this is the second feature narrative and one of the lead roles is played by Lucija Šerbedžija.
