Leïla, a young woman of Moroccan descent, has returned to her native Corsica, to visit the grave of her stillborn child. A conversation with her brother Amine, who stayed in Bastia, renews her doubts about being buried there herself. Between Corsica, the mainland, and Morocco, Leïla starts to ponder her identity.

Elisa Gilmour is a Canadian Corsican filmmaker based in Toronto. Her work raises questions about belonging to a gender, a family, a lineage. Her short Aïda Non Plus recently premiered at TIFF 2024 and she is in development with her feature film Tandis que lui with producer Isabelle Deluce.
