Ilze Ance Kazaka

Ilze Ance Kazaka is a Latvian film director, animator and illustrator. In 2023, she earned her Master’s degree from the Art Academy of Latvia (AAL) with the animated short Debris. This film, as well as her earlier short, Nerves on Nerves, deal with mental health. Most of Ance’s work is very relatable, illustrating daily situations and feelings with a touch of humour and optimism.
