Pragmatic doctor Marianne and compassionate medical technician Tor at first glance seem starkly different. They do have one thing in common, since they both avoid conventional relationships. When they meet on an evening ferry, Tor, who often spends his evenings there casually meeting men, recounts these intimate experiences to Marianne. Intrigued, Marianne begins to question the social norms around the idea of love. This warm, grounded and layered drama is a new film by Norwegian director Dag Johan Haugerud (ZFF 2019 – Beware of Children), having premiered at the Venice Film Festival.
