Maša’s daily life is filled with miscellaneous chores and the care of her sick mother. Feeling the pressure of anxiety, she escapes to the world of fantasy, where she tries to build her own fairy tale. Her usual routine will be disrupted by a phone call informing her of the death of a man she doesn’t know. Without too much hesitation, Maša decides to attend his funeral.
Dalija Dozet (Osijek, 1987) graduated in Film Direction from the Academy of Dramatic Arts (Zagreb). As a director and screenwriter, she works on different artistic and commercial film projects. In her work, she often plays with genre conventions, exploring themes of closeness, loss, and the inability to communicate. She is currently in post-production with her feature-length documentary My Dad’s Lessons and she is also developing an animated short and a fiction film project.
