The dreamlike camera of Sofia Coppola (The Beguiled – ZFF 2017) this time takes us into the real world of dreams, the mythical Graceland. But this is not yet another Elvis biopic. Inspired by Priscilla Presley’s memoirs, the film follows her relationship with Elvis since she met him as a 14-year-old teenager, moving to his luxurious estate a few years later. But after a dream there always comes an awakening – entering Elvis’ castle, Priscilla found herself inside a golden cage. This is her story. The film premiered at Venice where actress Cailee Spaeny won the Coppa Volpi award for Best Actress for her role of Priscilla.
