In the aftermath of an earthquake, the police find a man in the woods. A zoologist, a sound recordist, and a news crew grapple with the idea that he might be the cause of all the natural disasters that have ravaged this small mountain town.

Don Josephus Raphael Eblahan is a filmmaker from the Philippines. Eblahan’s works explore themes of trauma, spirituality, and nature, told through the cosmic lens of post-colonial spaces and Indigenous identities. His short film The Headhunter’s Daughter was awarded the Grand Jury Prize at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival. He is currently developing his debut feature film, Hum.
