Lost Country

Serbia 1996. Student demonstrations against the Milošević regime are underway, and fifteen-year-old Stefan faces the most difficult of all revolutions – he must confront his own beloved mother, the spokeswoman for the same corrupt government his friends are rising against. Lost Country is an authentic story about a clash between personal values ​​and family love. A relevant look at the past that warns us about the future. The film premiered at this year’s Critics’ Week in Cannes, where the actor Jovan Ginić received the Louis Roederer Foundation Rising Star Award.
