Celebration arrives to Zagreb screens after its triumphant foray at the Pula Film Festival, where it took home a handful of Golden Arenas (including the one for Best Film). Based on the novel by Damir Karakaš and premiering at Karlovy Vary, Bruno Anković’s exciting debut is a disconcerting look into the past as a warning for the present. It’s the end of World War II.
