Twelve-year-old Mina may not know how to dance and doesn’t have much confidence, but that doesn’t stop her from auditioning for the school’s dance troupe. She finds support in her unconventional grandmother and best friend, but there are sceptics too. Amid tears, laughter and joyful rhythms, Mina will break down your own barriers and sweep you off your feet. Dancing Queen is a charming and heartwarming tale, reminding us of that special feeling when a song we love comes on, when a person we like appears in our field of vision, or when we realise our dream bolstered by our own persistence and effort.
