ZFF Returns to SC Cinema

The 18th edition of ZFF will take place November 8 – 15 at SC Cinema, Tuškanac Cinema, the Croatian Music Institute, the Museum of Contemporary Art and online!

After ten years, SC Cinema is added to ZFF’s list of locations – a once cult cinema which served as a platform for Zagreb’s urban, alternative and experimental scene in the 1960’s and 1970’s, and where our adventure started back in 2003.

Fans of ZFF can once again find a rich film program in Tuškanac Cinema, Zagreb’s center of film and culture which offers year-round cinematic programs, contemporary, recent production, alternative and amateur films, and which gathers not only established film connoisseurs but also highschool and college students.

The Croatian Music Institute, one of the most beautiful venues for chamber music in Croatia, underwent thorough renovation and was transformed into a modern multipurpose cultural center. Zagreb’s oldest concert venue hosted part of last year’s Industry program, and this year it will see film screenings for the first time.

Part of ZFF’s program will once again be available across the river Sava, in the Museum of Contemporary Art. The museum which bridged the old and New Zagreb is a unique place for meeting people, learning, fun and enjoyment. More than six hundred works of Croatian and international artists from the Museum’s collection can be enjoyed before the screenings.

In these new circumstances, numerous festivals around the globe took place on the Internet. ZFF is no exception, so a part of this year’s program will be available online at kinoeuropa.hr and croatian.film.

See you at ZFF!
