22nd Zagreb Film Festival’s intercultural program
31. October
This year, the Zagreb Film Festival is showing two films translated into Arabic and Ukrainian languages. That’s It for Today, the feature film directed by Marko Đorđević, is on the program with Ukrainian subtitles on 8 Nov, and with Arabic subtitles on 10 November. Living Large, the feature-length animated film directed by Kristina Dufková, is scheduled for 10 November with Arabic subtitles.
Both films will screen at CineStar Branimir, while the screenings are part of the project Welcome to ZFF! which we organise in the hope of bringing the film program closer to our fellow residents for whom foreign language is frequently an obstacle in actively taking part in cultural life. Selected languages are recognised as the most represented among migrant and asylum seeker communities in Zagreb, while the selection of films is suitable for all ages.
The project is financially supported by the City Office for Culture and Civil Society of the City of Zagreb.
