Two sisters and a brother grow up isolated in a spacious house with a big yard, under the strict control of their cold, manipulative parents who teach them a distorted version of reality. When the father hires a young employee, Christina, to introduce his son to sexuality, their carefully controlled world begins to collapse. This darkly comic absurdist drama, winner of the top prize in Cannes’ Un Certain Regard section, introduced Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos to international audiences and will be shown at ZFF in a restored edition.

The film is sccreening on the occasion of editor Yorgos Mavropsaridis' masterclass, which will take place at the Kinoteka cinema on 15 November, starting at 16:00 h.
