The beauty of the tropical island of Zuania conceals an abandoned military complex, its ruins bearing witness to a complex past. Sea turtle hatchlings make their way to the ocean, as a ferry packed with tourists arrives on the island. Tour guide Beatriz leads visitors through streets where wild horses roam, taking them into a restricted zone contaminated by radiation. Guided Tour (Visions du Réel 2026 – Jury Prize for Best Short Film), by Alba Jaramillo, is a captivating hybrid documentary-fiction portrait of a mysterious island where reality itself seems ever so slightly displaced.
