VIDEO: Co-Productions in Video Games, Where Does Croatia Stand?

The second day of Industry is dedicated to video games – and the possibilities of European co-productions. State subsidies in European countries for the production of video games are increasing. This, as well as the possibility of Croatian involvement in European co-productions, will be presented by Thierry Baujard, co-founder of a Franco-German accelerator for video games, SpielFabrique.

Baujard, a European Commission expert for financing the cultural and creative sector and inter-sector financing, will present SpielFabriques’s vision and advantages of co-productions, and will present past case studies.

After the masterclass, a panel will follow. Croatia as a Player in European Co-Productions will consist of Chris Marcich (HAVC), Thierry Baujard (SpielFabrique), Andrej Levenski (Croatian Game Developers Association) and Davor Švaić (ADU) as panellists, and Srđan Laterza as the moderator.

The event is a part of the DigiTelling project, organized by the French Institute in Croatia and Goethe-Institut Kroatien, with the support of the Franco-German Cultural Fund and in cooperation with Edu4Games.
