A young woman, Ida, has disappeared without a trace. Three months later, her boyfriend Sander agrees to an unusual deal – he will allow her father and brother to lock him in the apartment and subject him to interrogation. Details about the unusual and unconventional lifestyle of the two lovers, who decided to live in complete isolation in the middle of a big city, cut off from the rest of the world, soon come to light. Copenhagen Does Not Exist is a dark love story and a disturbing psychological thriller written by the screenwriter of The Worst Person in the World (ZFF 2021), while the role of the father is played by Croatian actor Zlatko Burić (Triangle of Sadness – ZFF 2022).
