Applications Open for the Cinephiles Program

The Adriatic Region Film Festival Network is opening applications for the Cinephiles program, designed for young art-house film enthusiasts from Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and North Macedonia. 

The program brings together viewers under the age of 30 who wish to deepen their knowledge of contemporary auteur cinema through screenings, lectures, and masterclasses with filmmakers and experts from the region. Through film screenings and participation in the Industry Program, participants will have the opportunity to discover new trends and directions in art-house film, exchange impressions with peers from neighboring countries, and develop a critical approach to film as an art form.

The goal of the Cinefili program is to encourage young people to watch films regularly in cinemas and to build a new generation of audiences who recognize and appreciate the value of art-house film, both today and in the future.

Applications to join the Cinefili database are open to all interested young people from the region and can be submitted via the application form. The application deadline is October 16th.
