Meet&Match is a program of public script readings and professional networking designed for screenwriters, directors, and producers. Its goal is to connect creators of quality, unproduced feature film projects or TV series with potential creative and production partners. The core idea behind the program is inspired by the practice of public script readings as a tool for project development and community building in film. Through the format of live readings of selected script excerpts before an industry audience, creators get the opportunity to test their text, present the project to prospective collaborators, and create opportunities for future production.
During the first part of the program, a public script reading will take place, accompanied by a discussion with the audience and creators. The reading will be followed by a moderated informal networking session for screenwriters, directors, and producers.
The program is organised by the Screenwriters and Playwrights Guild (SPID) and the Croatian Film Directors’ Guild (DHFR), in partnership with the Croatian Film Authors and Producers Guild and the Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC).
Admission is free for the audience, while participants must register in advance.
