Sustainability On Set is a training programme that addresses the growing need for regionally based professionals who can translate sustainability goals into practical decisions across film and audiovisual production. The programme covers sustainable practices from development and budgeting through filming, post-production and distribution, exploring topics such as ESG, sustainable budgeting, carbon footprinting, energy, transport, materials, waste, locations and biodiversity, as well as digital workflows and AI. While focused on film, the knowledge and tools are also relevant to festivals, cultural events, theatre and other creative activities.
