Open applications for individual sustainability consultations in production

Zagreb Film Festival and Network of the Festivals in the Adriatic Region presents a new educational program: Consultations on Sustainable Film Production, intended for projects in the pre-production stage. The program aims to raise awareness of the environmental impact of film production and encourage the development of sustainable and socially responsible strategies.

The program offers individual consultations for producers and directors, providing an opportunity to approach their projects from a new perspective. In line with the growing demands from both funds and audiences for sustainable practices, the consultations create space for questions, dialogue, and drafting a green strategy that addresses both environmental and human aspects.

The program is led by Morana Komljenović, producer specialized in sustainability in film and the performing arts. Short and feature-length fiction projects in pre-production are eligible to apply. Alongside the producer, one key collaborator can also attend.

Each consultation lasts 45 minutes per project and will take place on Tuesday, 11 November.

The deadline for applications is October 25, 2025, via the online form.
