Magdalena is a small-town theatre actress, playing inconsequential roles. When her father-in-law suffers a stroke, she goes to the neighbouring village to take care of him. But due to a swine fever outbreak, the village is blocked. After much deliberation, she decides to save the pig, even though will be risking a fine she couldn’t possibly pay. Along the way, she encounters compassion of people in the most unlikely places.

Tyanita Gancheva is a Bulgarian director and producer. She is a student at the London Film School. Her film Vox Populi was screened at the Raindance Film Festival.
